Our Pastor

Bio and History

Pastor J. Allen Pennington has been in Ministry for over 16 years. Being saved at an early age, he gave himself to the service of the kingdom at the age of 10.

Attending West Oak Lane Church of God for several years, in which he sang on the choir and was the Vice President of the Men's Ministry.

In April 1992 Pastor Pennington preached His trial sermon. In July 1992 Pastor Pennington became a member of the Sharon Baptist Church, under the Pastorate of Dr. Keith W. Reed.

In September of 1992 Pastor Pennington started attending the Center for Urban Theological Studies, in which he studied Christian ministry, and Biblical counseling. By the leading of the Heavenly Father we started Grace counseling in October 1992.

From our humble beginnings we have evolved into a Ministry that now ministers to thousands of men and women, most who are or where in homeless shelters or on drugs and alcohol.

Since that time we have grown into a full outreach ministry. In 2003 being placed in the role of Pastor of outreach and evangelism for Saint Tabernacle Christian Fellowship Church, we began to minister to those who where in homeless shelters and changed our name to Grace Outreach. We have since begun a full ministry. In March 2004 Pastor Pennington was Ordained as a Minister of the Gospel. 

In April of 2005 we began holding weekly worship services. We then changed our name to Grace Outreach Deliverance Ministries of Philadelphia, Pa, in which we operate currently.

We now serve the people of the city of Philadelphia with Biblical counseling, for a variety of Issues. We are now looking to help those who are in homeless shelters to find a relationship with God, find housing and jobs. We believe the most important goal is that they become delivered people who can function in our society in a Godly manner.

Pastor Pennington has one daughter Syreeta, who began a relationship with the Heavenly Father at an early age. 

She Graduated from Kutztown University in 2007.

On July 9th 2005 he married the lovely Nikki Frazier, who is anointed and has been a blessing not only to our Ministry but to her husband also. On April 17th 2007 First Lady was confirmed as an Nabiyah (Prophetest) on the same day as her husbands Trial Sermon and is serving in ministry along side her husband.
